In her role as Account Coordinator at Emerson Street Media, Jewel assists with day-to-day client media relations, managing online presence, and strategic press outreach. She brings 7 years of journalism experience and 2 years of communications experience to her role. Prior to joining ESM, Jewel served as the sole communications staff for a national nonprofit, where she managed their online presence, successfully overhauled their marketing strategy, and co-produced a podcast. Jewel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Legal Studies from American University. In her free time, you can find Jewel playing soccer out on the many Washington, D.C. fields three times a week or exploring new bars with her fiancé.
